We have created this Glossary of Terms to help you have a fighting chance at understanding what in the world some of these terms and words mean.а Lots of times you will be faced with questions from the programs that are attempting to protect you and your computer from spyware.а If you don't know what the terms these programs are using mean when they ask these questions, you may as well be reading a foreign language.а Trying to figure out what to answer and do can cause more anxiety to the typical computer user than having the spyware on their computer in the first place!
So..., here are some of these little critters and what they mean:
Spyware: This is a catch all term that is used to cover a lot of things.а It refers to any kind of program (software that is) whose intent is to do something a normally sane person wouldn't want to be done to their computer.
